Certain households across Adelaide are being treated to an early Christmas present - albeit one they haven’t ordered. Hydro Lord the boardgame is being dropped, FREE, on the streets of the quiet town as part of a guerrilla marketing plan by the game’s creators.

The game, based on the go-go world of marijuana cultivation, is creating a stir amongst residents but for the brains behind the game, Edward Khammash, it’s just business. And business is booming.“ Due to the popularity of the game we have ordered a large shipment to arrive early next year” he told merge.

But it doesn’t stop there - the Hydro Lord tentacles are fixing to spread even further with Khammash saying he’s “in the processs of finding the right distributor in Canada and the USA”. 

Better hope the sniffer dogs don't catch on.
